1. Do an online search for hospitals in the region of England that you plan to stay. There should be a link on their websites for their Human Resources Departments. You could send them an email to ask specific questions - I'm sure they'll reply. Additionally, their website should list their position openings and qualifications for them so you can see if you're qualified. If you're licensed here, it should be transferable to there, but as that question to the Human Resources Department, just to be sure. I'm not sure what you mean about sponsors? Someone to stay with while you're there?
2. To work in the UK with your USA RN you have to get an offer of a job. Since your not an EU citizen. The only way round this is if you apply for jobs at American base in Europe.
