Please Review my martin luther king jr speech?

This is for the modern woodsman 2009 (: He had a dream that one day, blacks will live in a world where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their charecter. Martin luther king jr was born with the name michael, but soon had it changed to martin. he was born in atlanta, georgia in 1929, a time where blacks and whites were seperated because they were of a different race. he thought that how poorly treated he and other blacks were treated, was not at all fair. martin luther king jr is a hero to me because unlike the others who thought racism was horrible, he actually got up, and said what he needed to say. few days after he spoke his mind, he was shot standing on the balcony of his hotel. Martin faced many obstacles of racism against him and other blacks. His white friends were forced to stop playing with him when they reached grade school. He was arrested many times, and his own house was bombed when he stopped the seating spots between blacks and whites. although he had been faced with many obatacles and choice, he passed through them, and helped change some of the many racist acts that blacks faced. martin had many goals to fix the horrid rights that blacks were given.he ahd selfless idea's to change these acts of racism. his mother told him, as a child, that one day this world will change, and blacks will have the same rights as whites. He said, he, martin luther king jr, will turn this world upside down. he said to himself he will help change the racist acts, and help give blacks better housing, jobs, and schooling. Martin, leader of a civils rights movement, had his dreams come true. After the victory of martin, the fifteenth amendmant gave black men the right to vote. Blacks and whites unit, both blacks and whites walk the streets together equally. in conclusion martin was able to fulfill his life long dreams. he helped gain many rights for blacks, same schools, resteraunts, and bus seatins. without martin luther king jr the laws for blacks would still be the same. he organized and led marhces, without using violence. His marches and speeches were effective, and for the most part, were all done successfully, and peacefully. his actions and words created an everlasting, never to be forgotten memory, in not only blacks, but all of us. I want you to think how would life for us all, be different of martin luther king jr. hadnt spoke up from his heart, spoke what everyone wished they couldve said. he showed not only me, but all of us, there is more to people than meets the eye. Ihope he has showed you, as he showed me, that bravey and courage, can win the fight. Speak up and you will be heard. Martin luther king Jr. A great hero for all to look up to :)

  1. Pretty decent. You should capatalize after EACH period and Martin Luther King Jr. should ALWAYS look like that (Starting with capitol letters).
  2. You did good
  3. 1- 10 i give it an 8 but im not your teacher
  4. I just added periods and capitalized some words. I also replaced "black" and "white" with European/Caucasian and African American/African. I also did some grammar editing. =) Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream that one day, Africans and African Americans would live in a world where they would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1929, a time where African Americans and Caucasians were separated because they were of a different race. He thought that the way he and other Africans were treated was not fair at all. It would certainly be different if Martin Luther King Jr. hadn't spoken up from his heart and spoke what everyone wished they could have said.
