What is more important finding a solution or insult those you need to work with?

OK we have a problem with the economy. Yet Pelosi wants to insult the Republicans and the fight that follow cost the market 777 points. When are we going to learn to put away our difference and work for the betterment of America? When are both sides going to wake up and say that we need to listen and work together? That sometimes each side will have the right answer. The division is going to be far more painful. Don't blame the other side for you hate it is you that control you own emotions.

  1. These jackasses should ALL be voted out, all of them.
  2. Typical Pelosi and the "do nothing" congress. Maybe now people will see how their ineptitude is destroying the economy.
  3. Pelosi is right and if republicans are hurt by the truth to the point of treason so be it all!!!!!
  4. I say vote all incumbents out of office in November. Let's get a fresh start.
  5. Is it not a wonder how powerful Ms. Peolsi is. She gives one short talk and 133 Republicans change their vote and vote against the bailout. Wow! Talk about mesmerism.
  6. Democrats insult republicans because they know they have thousands of lemming-minded followers who will believe anything they say. They can rob American taxpayers blind, and the little-minded liberals will support them.
  7. The poor conservative republicans voted the country into the toilet because Nancy Pelosi hurt their feelings. Nice one. Of course the real reason is they wanted to seem against the plan so they wouldn't take the blame if it failed. They were surprised and horrified when they actually got their way.
  8. Nancy Pelosi's brand of civility and bi-partisanship.
  9. How about taking some of the responsibility?
  10. The insults are getting tiresome and overboard at this point. Stop blaming the other party-both parties have flaws. Note to congress~~~~~> Just fix the ecomony and get back to work!
  11. Ok The individuals who are in Congress Democrats or Republicans should do what's right regardless of there "HURT FEELINGS". Get over and grow up. Secondly I as a Democrat also feel that Pelosi was correct in her statement but she had p*ss poor timing as to when to express that statement. Statement true Timing Bad!!!
  12. To the betterment of Wall Street you mean . And how many of us would be truly effect by this delay of free fix it money . we tax payers have to pay the tab on and then re-buy the homes that Wall Street took from the people of America . The only ones that will be hurt are the ones making the choice to out source the countries production And devise a new plan to make more money . By making every body eligible for a home loan with a short term Low interest rate clause attached . And for tax paying America have to pay the people who ripped off America and caused 3 years of foreclosures to happen .
  13. Need to find a solution to the problem at hand !!!! It's a shame that Pelisoe say what she did when it was so close !!!!! The Republicans need to grow up !!! They are suppose to be more responsible than that . We they voted the way they did was ashamed . We have a very important election in November and their chances of getting reelected is slim to none .
  14. There's an interview with Nancy Pelosi in the September 2008 issue of Reader's Digest magazine. RD prints some of her "humble advice" from her book: "Never draw a line in the sand. Regardless of how irritated you are with your opponents, you have to leave an opening for them to find their way back." So apparently, she assumes the opposition is wrong but she's going to be gracious enough to let them come around to her way of thinking. Sounds to me that she's not willing to put away differences and work for the betterment of America, she's not going to wake up and say that we need to listen and work together, and she's not going to acknowledge that the other side might have the right answer.
