How can I go about finding work in France before leaving Australia?

I want to be in France for at least five months and I have a European passport. I am currently studying French, however my French is not as good as it could be, hence wanting to work in France. Any idea of how I can get myself a job in a cafe of some sort prior to leaving Australia?

Use the Internet and check out the job propects.
Teaching English as a foreign Language is probably your best bet. Google ESL or TEFL and Paris and you'll find a lot of companies engaged in this work.
Teaching English in Paris is not as easy as it use to be, these days you have to be a qualified teacher. Try numerous expat sites such as www.fusac.fr/en/ or http://www.franglo.com/classifieds/index.php
Why not working in a winery to pick-up the grappes. It's fun and the emplyed lot of young peapole coming fron the rest of the world. It start around september and it is very friendly ambiance.
