Career Fair?

I am going to a monster jobs career fair in Houston, Tx. I am from another state...do you they will be interested if i havent moved there yet?....i plan on moving as soon as i can get a job there..

1. i dont think it will matter as long as you're planning to move to TX as soon as u get the positions.. so they'll evaluate ohter qualifications

At career fairs you often have the chance to talk to HR and hiring managers so it is important that you make a good first impression and have an outstanding resume and cover letter. Find a list of participating companies and do some research on them, find a mission statement. Identify personal attributes that are congruent with their mission statement or goals and work that into your cover letter. Writing a cover letter tailored to each employer dramatically increases your chances. Especially if you can come up with a name to address the letter to.
