Job Fair Atlanta

When you attend a career fair, do you get interview on the spot? and?

And, if you're chosen for the job, do you get interviewed for the second time? What's better applying online and waiting 'till the company calls you for interview, or go to career fair? Thank you!

  1. Sometimes you might get an interview but usually a Career Fair is companies telling people what their company is all about and what types of jobs they have... more like discussing than interviewing. The reason these are so good is because one main thing about a job is that it's a two way street. You should like to work THERE after you get there so these types of fairs are really neat! Applying online and just waiting doesn't show an employer much get up and go! This is the worst way to get a good job! Remember this motto... If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life (Means it won't seem like work if you love it!)
  2. Go to the fair...they are much more likely to take you serious and less likely to forget you than if you just applied online. Think about it - its a lot easier to tell someone "no" online than it is in person. There's a pretty good chance you could get an interview on the spot, but you usually will be called back for a second interview. Absolutely go to the career fair - you've got nothing to loose & these days you need to do all that you can to "get your foot in the door".....definitely shouldn't be waiting for the company to call you.
