When you attend a career fair, do you get interview on the spot? and?
And, if you're chosen for the job, do you get interviewed for the second time? What's better applying online and waiting 'till the company calls you for interview, or go to career fair? Thank you!

- What's better applying online and waiting 'till the company calls you for interview, or go to career fair? Career fair, then waiting, then applying on line. At a career fair there are many types of scenarios: 1. Companies actually send their HR dept to recruit and hire 2. Companies send some marketing geek to collect resumes and tell you what a great company they are. If you meet a #1, then you can get an interview and possibly an offer (rare, but possible), or an appointment for an interview. If you meet #2, then you will need to ask who to contact in the organization to see if they are hiring somebody with your experience. Then call them. If after you submit an online application and you have a great deal of self-motivation, contact the company HR department to see if they have any questions about your resume and ask them if they have any positions open. If not, then thank them for their time. If yes, then milk it for as much information as you can get and try to see if you can get an interview. Good luck!
