Finding Work?

How can a foreignor whose lived here in the UK for 3 years & who has all the right paper work etc AND also speaks the english language fluently find work ..??? The major obstacle being faced is that most of the work experience is from the country of origin and none from here in the UK.Why do most potential employers feel that the foreignors application does not have the relevant skills that they are searching for ...EVEN despite the fact that the foreignor is a University graduate with honors,who is also proficient with the Micro office package ,has administrative skills etc.

1. 2 of my british relatives have been looking for work for 2 years and still unsuccessful so i woudnt complain
2. Start with catering or cleaning jobs to keep you employed till you can find somethin else. Go through an agency maybe.
3. ask for the proper wage anyway,dont offer to work for less than an english person

5. It depends what skills you do have..... If you are looking for a non professional job, make sure you have a full British driving license, my husband's company employs alot of Brazilian and Portuguese drivers They are loyal employees
6. You could attempt to improve your punctuation, perhaps, my friend. Only one question mark is required when asking something, "Foreignor" is actually spelt, "Foreigner", an apostrophe is required after the "r" in "foreigners", "University" is not capitalised, "Honors" - in the UK, at least, is "Honours." Might I suggest you concentrate on this. After you've mastered the language, then move on to complaining. We British are excellent at that.

9. if a little extra income online and from home would help, I've done really well with http://www.mylot.com/?ref=nancygibson Basically its like here, but you get paid for answering questions, posting disucssions and pictures. Its hardly like work at all and I've found the extra money extremely useful. Just a thought in case its remotely of interest.
