What are our chances of finding work in York?

We are coming to live in York for two years (City centre) my fiance is from new zealand and has a lot of reception/admin experiece. I am English but live in NZ now I dont really havge much in the way of qualifications but we are both prepared to do any kind of work and very keen. How long do you think it would take us to find work from the day we arrive?
