How can I work on a cruise ship or get another job on a boat? HELP?

I want to get a job on a boat, like a cruise ship that goes to the South Pacific and other cool places! What kind of job could I do on a boat and how can I get this job?? does it pay ok? Please pretty please help!

1. Go to the cruise company web sites, follow the links to "employment", and begin there. Cruise companies look for employees with at least 2 years of experience in the job field for the position applied for. Generally, the pay is low, and the hours very long, with no days off in each contract term (6 to 10 months). There is very little time off to go ashore on days the ship is in port. On the positive side, living expenses are practically nil, and crew members can save a very large percentage of their pay. Also, they get to know people from all over the world.
