How much do you get paid on welfare?

Tried five years to get a job, getting tired of trying, going to try two more years, and if I don't have one then, I'm going on welfare. How much will I get paid?

1. Not much. Really the only way to get on welfare is if: your pregnant, have children, or are mentally or physically disabled. The max they pay you in cash is $300 not counting food stamps and medical if you do get accepted.

3. It varies with each state. I have a relative that gets about 1500-2000 a month including her food stamps, housing, insurance, and cash. She also works part time and does better than some of us working. She has two children and no husband to help support them.
