How to get an 18+ Job, when you're under 18?

I have a great Job oppurtunity, and I filled out a job application and said I was 18. The owner of the place loves me already, and said he'd get me a job and call by wednesday, I don't think they'll look at my id just because they aren't one of the nicest places. But if they do, I do I get away with it? Thanks in advance Oh and they serve alcohol, so I that's why I have to be 18.

  1. Job applications are frequently hard - how should you fill them in? Should you follow them up when there is no reply? I suggest there's no definitive answer but the website in the box below has some superb guidance about this. It certainly helped me when I was filling in job applications recently, plus they have alternative help on job seeking.
  2. They are required to look at your i.d., whether they love you or not. If they hired you at under 18 it would be illegal and they'd be subject to massive fines - I doubt that he loves you THAT much. If you get the job after lying, expect it to be very short term since you'll be fired right away.
  3. You'll get caught for lying on the application. Also will place the business that you applied for in trouble since if they are not allowed to hire anyone under 18, you will be the reason why they might end up closing down. This perfect job for you, with your hiring manager that loves you, once filling out your tax form they will catch you lying when noticing your Date of Birth or yet go ahead and lie and make it say your 18, then you will be charged with a felony for fraud and false information. If you are 16 or 17, depending on the prosecutor they will try to get you charged as an adult so prison time here you come.
  4. they are going to need to see your drivers license when they hire you-FEDERAL REQUIREMENT you can get them in major trouble if you work there and are underage they could lose their liquor license
