ok well im 14 and turning 15 in december so how old do i have to be to get a part time job?

like i wanna get a job at zumiez or hot topic or even amc at firewheel....how old??? and i live in sachse tx

1. Most places make you wait until you are 16, at least they do in Northern Ireland :)
2. I think you're old enough to work part time jobs depends on where you work at.

4. It depends where you are. You can work at fast food with the appropriate paperwork at 14. Some stores will require you to be 16 to work there and others want you to be 18. I would call the places you are interested and ask what the age requirement is. Good luck!

Well my brother is 15 he is 16 in august he got his national insurance card and then now he is able to apply for jobs. he has started on his cv and has started handing out cv's before his 16th birthday. Basically write your cv and then go to a shop you wanna apply for ask for the manager and give it to him. Be confident and bubbly even if the manager is looking moody. But make sure you give it to the manager otherwise someone at the till might just chuck it somewhere. The key is apply for as many jobs as possible even if you don't like the thought of working there.
