Why is it so hard to get a good paying job in Israel Most Israelis earn below $500 a week?
and a lot of Israelis only earn between $5 - $8 per hour maximum @ a cutie That's true only if you live in an apartment building in a small cheap city far away from the best parts of Israel.

- well if we say that you earn $500 a week, or a little less as you say , in the month there are 4 weeks, so it's $2000 a month.. around 7,500 shekels .. that's not bad at all ..
- Cost of living there is structured differently. You cannot compare Israeli pay to American pay using US dollars. It's like asking why we don't get paid in pounds.
- actually you are right and its sad. but don't forget that in israel education is free, health insurance is free, social security is free, universities are cheap (sponsored by the government) food is cheap and so on. some stuff (housing, cars, fuel, and such) are more expensive than in US. and unemployment rate is lower than in US.
- For a man pretending to be called "Sam" you´ve a very strange concept of English but ok, let´s forget this. $2000 a month is in your opinion not a "good paid job"??? You must be out of your mind. 80% of Italians, Spanish, Greeks, Portuges earn 1500 dollars a month, as well as 50% of French. And in many small American cities in the South near New Orlean for example hundreds of thlousands people would be happy to get two "grands" a month .
- Ew.
