Job Fair Atlanta

What kind of job could I get when I don't have any work experience? PLEASE help?

I have cleaned people's houses before for money but they were family friends and whatnot. I am 19 and I have never had a job. Not willing to work in fast food. Could I get a job as a waitress? What is possible for me to do? I have a GED, and I am not going to college. Please help me?

  1. waitress....receptionist...cashier...janitor
  2. when seeking a profession, the older the job the better. Preferably the oldest. Ahhhh...old reliability.
  3. I guess you could always work for a fast food place and work your way up from the top. I have herd people who have worked at MC Donald's for a long time and they have became mangers. They also can make a lot of money from it. Or just pick something you enjoying doing such as teaching, Arts, etc. if u love to read become a journalist or even a novelist. Whatever u do is up to you. If you know u can do something you should go for it because when your successful you will succeed at anything you do. :]
  4. My sister makes a very good living cleaning houses and there's no overhead except gas money to drive to their homes. Get 3 written references from the people you've cleaned for. Advertise in the newspaper, add that you have references, and let people call you. You can set your prices by the hour or by the size of the home, or by the detail of the work. If you are willing to do yard work, sweeping decks, outside windows, etc...you can add that or make a separate ad. If you have references and like taking care of kids, you can make a separate ad for that. If you run out of time for kids, you could still meet them coming off the bus and wait with them til their parents get home, something like afterschool childcare to combine with your other job(s). And/or helping to set up and clean up childrens parties, adult parties, or help with Senior citizens.
